Jeffry Burchard is an Architect.
Jeffry is licensed in Massachusetts and has NCARB certification for reciprocity throughout the United States. He has worked with numerous firms on high-profile domestic and international projects. These firms include Machado and Silvetti Associates, Preston Scott Cohen, Hashim Sarkis ALUD, Koetter Kim Associates and Kyu Sung Woo Associates. Jeffry has professional experience in research and development, architectural design, master planning, project management and construction administration. At Machado and Silvetti Associates he was the senior designer for the New York University Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life, project architect for a new, world-class, 20 million SF financial district in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and project director and architect for numerous competitions. Jeffry is a Design Critic at Harvard University Graduate School of Design where he teaches studios in architectural design. He has also recently been invited to jury student work at the Architectural Association, Columbia, Pratt, Cornell, RISD, Northeastern, New York Institute of Technology and the Boston Architectural College. He is actively immersed in competitions, writing and speculative research of his own volition. He completed his M.ARCH 2 with Distinction at Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 2008. Prior to this he graduated with concurrent B.S.ARCH and M.ARCH degrees from the University of Idaho where he was awarded the AIA Henry Adams medal. As a student at Idaho he led the successful effort to convince the State Board of Education to re-establish the College of Art and Architecture.
